Risk and compliance challenges continue to mount for the financial services sector. Compliance mandates continue to increase in scope and complexity. In the context of operational risk, the pandemic has brought to the fore an ever-increasing set of cybersecurity challenges. WFH (work-from-home) requirements of many employees, as well as the need to rapidly extend/enhance digital channels from the financial sector to the customer base, have complicated this landscape further.
