Oracle Session 3: Improving Detective Efficiency with Advanced Technology
Financial crimes, specifically money-laundering schemes, grow unchecked in both complexity and volume. The high number of false-positive events is one of the most difficult AML program challenges. Event investigation requires significant time, effort, and budget as much of the data aggregation and analysis requires manual intervention. Firms struggle with navigating the trade off between risk tolerance and the false positive rate. In this session we will review real use cases on how advance capabilities are being used by financial institutions to improve efficiency by reducing alert processing time for screening and filtering and reduce costs.
