Big name investors help Zero Co close third funding round
No matter how good your product or business idea, it’s always an uphill battle securing funding when you’re pre-revenue. But when investors of the ilk of Atlassian’s founders tip their hat in the ring, you know you’re onto something.
Zero Co aims to put an end to single-use plastics for household cleaning and personal care products. Customers receive bottles they are instructed to re-use for the cleaning products, which arrive in pouches, with the contents to be tipped into the re-usable bottles. The pouches then go into reply paid envelopes that are sent back to Zero Co to be cleaned and reused.
The business has just closed its third funding round, in which it raised more than $2 million. “We raised about $4 million in two rounds pre-revenue.
