These photos show FINSIA’s unique networking opportunities back to their best with SA’s first Current & Future Leaders since the end of COVID a resounding success.
A wide cross section of more than 50 finance services professionals attended, including Young Finance Professionals, entrepreneurs and senior corporate executives as well as 10 leaders who shared key career insights at the University of Adelaide.
Maggie Nell SA FIN – who coordinated the speed networking event as Chair of the SA/NT YFP – praised the leaders who shared experiences of how they became successful, adding: “It was great to see so many people in-person at the university.
“I am always grateful for the willingness of such an amazing cohort of senior leaders throughout South Australia to volunteer their time to share their advice and experience with young professionals in SA.
“There was so much passion - the atmosphere felt alive after the monotony of COVID.”
But Maggie did note that conversations around the room highlighted how the work landscape has changed since COVID, and that there were new and unique challenges that professionals had to now face such as working from home, work life balance, and the competitive work environment.
SA/NT Chair Ben Owen F FIN also spoke of the success of the event.
